O2 Filmes executive producers Wagner Moura and Andrea Barata Ribeiro have been inducted into the Hollywood Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences. They will be judged at the next Oscars, the most prestigious prize in cinema, as a result of their nomination. Andrea Barata Ribeiro sees his Academy nomination as a victory for Brazilian film in front of his production firm, O2 Filmes, which is celebrating three decades as an actor and pioneer this year by winning accolades all over the world.
